I stopped in a SUBWAY® restaurant in Carrollton, MO. One of the ladies working took my order and she commented “eating healthy today?” I took the opportunity to explain to her and the other lady working, that I had lost 45 lbs since April 27th eating something off the diabetic friendlier menu and having a Vitazest everyday for lunch. Both of them were amazed and one of them kind of commented something like “wow, you really CAN lose weight eating here!”.

To the Makers of Vitazest and to Subway:

Thank you so much for your commitment to a healthier menu!

Our society today is at such a fast pace that we have become a nation of french fries and soda.

As a result, the majority of us are overweight and more people are being diagnosed with diabetes.

I became aware of the Subway menu through a campaign from Vitazest. I was immediately impressed when I read the flyer that Subway was introducing a diabetes friendly menu.

My family has a lot of type two diabetics and my four year old grandson was diagnosed with type one diabetes two years ago.

So for me this was something that immediately perked my interest. I went to the Subway close to my office and asked for the diabetes friendly menu. I was so surprised when they scooped the bread and then told me how to make the sandwich a healthy sandwich. To top off the lunch, I included a Vitazest drink. I was really surprised how good it tasted and then I read the ingredients and found that vitamins were also added.

I have since gone back several times and also purchased the salads. I have passed on this menu to all of my co-workers along with several members of my family.

I am grateful to the commitment of both Subway and Vitazest for taking one beginning step to getting the public to eat healthier.

I sincerely hope that this is not just a one time menu choice but will be a regular menu item for Subway going forward.

I recently watched Jamie Oliver and his commitment to get people to eat a healthier menu on a daily basis and I equate that to what Subway along with Vitazest is doing.

We could all be healthier if we made our food from scratch and made sure we had the right ingredients, but in reality, we are a take out society and we need help from places such as yours to help us.

PLEASE continue your efforts!

I thank you on behalf of myself, my family and my grandson.

On a special note: Since my grandson is a type one diabetic, he has to have insulin every time he eats carbs. With the scooping of the bread and the healthy items, Subway is a great place for him to eat out. He loves loves loves the Vitazest and that is a drink he can drink freely without having to be dosed.

I have also passed on your information to our local JDRF chapter and to many of the parents of type one diabetics.

I am just writing to let you know how much I am in support of the Subway Scoopit promotion! I have had type 1 diabetes for many years and it is great to see a national chain recognize diabetes and do something for us! I would love to see it promoted in the Northwest. Let me know if I can help out at all.

My husband had triple bypass surgery and I have been gone and then doing catch up here at the office. Since my husband has found out that he is diabetic now, he has put some of the coupons you sent to use. He loves the Sweet Onion Chicken Teriyaki Salad and the Oven Roasted Chicken Salad. He was so pleased that there was a place he could grab something quick and it was tailored to his needs. I have to tell you Subway has been a life saver this past week as I have been working and having to make sure he has a meal that is nutritious and fast. We are fortunate that we have someone that runs to Subway for us and picks it up for him when I'm not there.

I have gotten nothing but good feedback from everyone that comes through our office. I know that people are going out and trying the Diabetes Friendlier Menu and are loving it! The VITAZEST water is such a nice addition to any meal, too. Once it was tried for the first time, everyone has been hooked ever since. We’ve enjoyed the positive atmosphere that it has brought to our office. People are happier and healthier! Thanks!

As soon as I learned of the Subway Diabetes Friendlier Menu, I just had to go right over to Subway and try it. I had the turkey breast paired with the pomegranate VITAZEST. It was delicious! Our office has been trying to get in the habit of eating healthier and the menu has helped motivated us and make it much easier. I have been affected by diabetes through people that I care for, and it is so great to see that there are options to help make it easier for them too. Thanks Subway!

I have recently undergone surgery and VITAZEST has been very helpful in getting me to drink more water. Because I have type 1 Diabetes, for years, I have been drinking diet drinks as my sweet treat. I have also had no interest in drinking plain water. I have tried many times to find a sugar-free beverages that I actually genuinely enjoy but have come to accept that “diet will always taste like diet”. Since my surgery, I have been drinking the VITAZEST Water, which I found in a Subway as part of a diabetes friendlier menu. I am proud to say I think I have finally found a drink which meets all my needs and that is actually delicious and healthier! I love the VITAZEST!

Thank You!

PS it’s nice to know that you donate back to diabetes research..

I work at St. Luke's Northland Hospital and stopped at Subway during my lunch hour to get a sandwich for lunch and saw the ad on the door so I tried the VITAZEST Water and I loved it. I am diabetic and trying to lose weight and get my diabetes back under control. Thank you for helping to make it easier for me to enjoy eating out and still eating healthy. I figure if Jarred could do it so can I. LOL. Again great product and I love it.

Thank you so much for creating the Scoop It menu. Having a diabetic husband makes it very difficult for our family to be relaxed when eating out. There are very few diabetes friendly restaurants and options in general to choose from. We are always counting our carbs and calories and avoid sodium as much as possible. Kudos Subway . – Great Menu!

The Subway Diabetes Friendlier Menu is just awesome! I am diabetic myself and feel that there is no excuse now for me not to make healthier choices. I am excited about it and am recommending this to everyone I work with and know. I am even taking my whole office to Subway this week to eat off the scoop it menu.

P.S. Love the VitaZest water!
